RiftBound League

Welcome to Nashville RiftBound League!

Welcome to the ultimate gathering place for the world of RiftBound in Nashville Tennessee! Whether you are a fierce player ready to battle or a local game store that brings the community together, you have just stepped into your new home base.

What is Nashville Riftbound League?

Nashville Riftbound League, or NRL, is a community-focused league across several stores with the intention of growing the game in an exciting way. Each store that participates will host weekly events that will track player performance on a public leaderboard. At the end of the 12-week league, the top players will receive an invitation to a cash tournament with other exclusive prizes!

What Are We Striving to Achieve?

Our big mission is to make playing RiftBound more fun, organized, and connected than ever before. We want to solve the hardest part of being a gamer: figuring out where the action is!

How does scoring work?

At the end of each week, each player who played at least one event will have their best single record for the week automatically added to the leaderboard. Players will receive 3 points per win. Players will not have multiple events uploaded in one week. For example, a player who went 3-0 at one store and 2-1 at another store will receive 9 points for the week. That will come from their best record being 3-0, and receiving 3 points per win from that one event. Players will also receive a bonus point for each unique store they played at through the season. For example, a player who only played at Store A will receive 1 bonus point, while a player who played at Stores A, B, and C will receive 3 bonus points. This is to help attract more players to each store.

What is required of the stores?

Stores will be expected to report weekly results from each of their players from that event, including player name, Riot ID, legend played, and final record.

What is required of the players?

Nothing! Players will show up and play as normal, and their names will be added to the leaderboard weekly. They do not need to opt in.

Is there an associated cost?

Stores will contribute $2/player from each event to the collective prize pool to go toward the invitational. We recommend adding that cost to your entry fee, and explaining to your players that this is to go back into the prize pool for the invitational. 100% of these contributions (less administrative fees) will be put into this event, most of which will be prizing, but also to cover the cost of having a judge at the event. Funds will be sent weekly to a dedicated NRL account, and strict tabs will be taken to ensure that every dollar is accounted for.

What will the end of the season look like?

At the end of the twelve week season, we will send messages to the qualified players to let them know about the event. If any players are not able to make the event, we will pass down their invite to the next player on the leaderboard.
